Did anyone happen to catch Demons?? I for one was excited by the freshness of the premise, and eager to see more adventures of the reluctant demon slayer forced to confront his destiny by an older transatlantic mentor called Rupert oh my God.

For me, two things stood out. Philip Glenister impressed with his uncanny American accent and the young male protagonist managed a couple of scenes where he acted with his shirt on. As you said, OMG.

I'm impressed that Ms Harker doesn't let a little thing like blindness get in the way of her commitment to full slap.

I don't think I can manage more intelligent or specific critique than 'it was lame'.

Wait, "Rupert" is American? That doesn't make any sense.

I suppose somewhere in the vasty vastnesses of America there must be a native-born Rupert, but I promise you this: he's on someone's watchlist.

We watched it. Then we sat there blinking for a bit and then watched "Young Dracula" off of CBBC. Young Dracula is far superior, we concluded...

How many episodes (or seasons, even?) will it take for him to realise that true love resides right under his nose in the guise of his best friend? And will it take an encounter with a beautiful succubus for him to come to his senses?
